5 Great Motivational Movie Speeches

We all have bad days. It’s bound to happen. Deals fall through, bosses get angry, colleagues get annoying. That is life. But when the waters of life get rough, all it takes is a couple words of inspiration to pick you back up and help you make it through. Inspirational movies are rich with material for a bad day. Here’s 5 movies speeches that will never fail to help you get your swagger back.
5. Remember the Titans – “A lesson from the dead”

The next time your kids aren’t getting along you might consider taking them for a long grueling run through a forest and then ending with this speech. You don’t need them to like each other, but they will respect each other.
4. Rocky Balboa – “It’s about how hard you can get hit”

Life ain’t easy. It doesn’t give out participation trophies. You gotta work and work and work. Stop making excuses and go work yourself into success.
3. Rudy – “you aint gotta prove nothing”

This life is not about proving yourself to your colleagues, friends, or employer. Your only goal is personal progression. Keep moving forward.
2. The Pursuit of Happyness – “if you want something, go get it”

Oh man, I love this scene. There will always be people who will doubt. Don’t listen to the doubters – you believe in yourself and you go get what you want.
1. Braveheart – “they will never take, our freedom”
Freedom means something different to everyone. To some it is vacation time or the weekend, to others it is the freedom to be creative. Don’t let anyone take away your freedom.

A Creative Way to Meet Investors - UberX

Have a cool startup idea, and want to get it funded? You could go the traditional route, blindly sending your pitch deck to every VC in Silicon Valley. Or you could follow investors on Twitter, hoping that through casual badinage you can win the hearts (and eventually, the wallets) of your startup's money source.  Or maybe, just maybe, you should drive for Uber. UberX Lowers The Bar Yes, Uber, the popular mobile app that connects drivers with people who need a lift. Founded in 2009 as UberCab, Uber has become the go-to app for hailing a sedan in markets like San Francisco, New York City and London. And while historically Uber operators have been commercial sedan drivers filling time between jobs their employer provides them, Uber's introduction of UberX in July 2012 has opened the service to cars and drivers of all kinds. This means that not only will you be picked up in a Toyota Prius or Volkswagen Jetta instead of a Lincoln Town Car, but you're also going...
